Welcome to Time Out For Me!
My name is Jen. When I began blogging in 2007 this blog was exactly what the name meant, a time out for me. I was a mom, wife, teacher (you get the drill) and I wanted something to inspire people because so many blogs were inspiring to me. It was all about home decor, books, party planning, gardening and food. Then little by little I added some things about my family, after all I do love them most! But I still tried to keep it all about inspiring others.
Then our life took a drastic turn and we found out we were moving to China. I scoured the internet for information about what my life would be like and came up with some information, but never specific enough. It was then that I knew it was my passion to never let anyone moving to Beijing feel like that again. Now that we are back from Beijing my blog has evolved yet again.
My husband and I have been together for eighteen years. We have two children who are fifteen and eleven. We are active members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and without faith in Him I could not be able to enjoy life as much as I do. To learn more about this click here.
