Treasure Hunting

This weekend I experienced My Perfect Day! Here are the results of it!

The pink lacy wonder is actually four curtain panels. The frilliness just made me gasp!
The little china chairs are handpainted.
The tiny plate is perfect for butter or these.
I picked up the toile pillow because I can never resist aqua and pink together. It just may go here.
I am not a bracelet person but j'adore this Paris one. Just may use it for something else.
Like the Eifel Tower pin, it will glitz up a pillow in my bathroom.
Finally, this necklace stole my ♥! My mom and I spotted it and snatched it right up. It is antique sterling silver, but the patina is beautiful. I bought it as a gift- but just may keep it for myself.

Obviously these were not from a garage sale. Check out Catstudio here! You will not be disappointed!

I picked up these two dishtowels (Napa because I was born there & Paris...well...you know me!) I found these in hand emroidered pillows but they were just too pricey, so I am gonna make my own pillows out of these babies! Perfect for my bonus room sofa!

These towels were packaged in the coolest gauze bag (see above).
Are you a treasure hunter?
Or do you prefer brand new from stores and boutiques?
"Treasure is in the eye of the beholder!"

my dear friend, it is always so fun to see what you finding lurking in the corners of a tiny store. I am so excited to see what projects you make next.

I'll miss seeing all your frill and treasure of a house!!!!

Jennie- Name the time and day and I will give you the 101 in treasure hunting. :) If you want to start local I like Marshall's and Tuesday Morning (outlet mall) to get going. The key is finding things that "speak to you". Don't worry about what you are going to do with it or where it is going to go. If you love it, you will find a place. Hunt with your heart, not your mind. (Can you tell I take it all very seriously/) :) Jen

I'm HORRIBLE at this kind of thing. I think I see something, then have no place to put it and it usually ends up in a garage sale of my own...Not that I have any space now, but once I do I'm in for a shopping trip!
